Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the R Saloon platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not accept these Terms, please refrain from using the Platform.

2. Services Overview

R Saloon operates an online marketplace connecting customers ("Customers") with independent providers of beauty, wellness, grooming, and personal care services ("Providers") including but not limited to salons, spas, beauticians, and wellness professionals. R Saloons does not directly provide these services and acts solely as an intermediary.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use the Platform.
• All information provided at signup or booking must be true, complete, and current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

4. Bookings, Payments, and Cancellations

• All service bookings must be placed via the Platform.
• Payment for services is processed securely through integrated gateways. Payment is considered confirmed only upon receipt of funds.
• Provider acceptance and timely confirmation is required for all bookings; R Saloon is not responsible for unconfirmed appointments.
• Cancellations and refunds are subject to the Platform’s policy published at the time of booking. No-shows and late cancellations may incur charges or denial of refund.
• Any disputes over payment or refunds must be notified within 7 days of the transaction.

5. Platform Role and Liability

• R Saloon acts only as a booking intermediary. It does not deliver or supervise any beauty, grooming, or wellness services and does not guarantee the ability of Providers.
• The Platform is not liable for services not rendered, dissatisfaction, damages, injuries, or any issues that occur during or after service delivery, including losses due to provider negligence, lateness, cancellation, or any third-party actions.

6. User Responsibilities and Conduct

• Customers agree to provide accurate information, behave respectfully toward providers, and follow safety or hygiene protocols as required.
• Providers agree to comply with all applicable laws, licensing, health and safety guidelines, and to treat customers fairly and lawfully.
• Harassment, abuse, discrimination, or unlawful conduct may result in immediate deactivation of your account and legal action.

7. Body Massage Services Disclaimer

For any body massage services, R Saloon acts solely as an intermediary and is not responsible or liable for any act, omission, injury, loss, or damages of any nature whatsoever resulting from such services. All liability rests with the Service Provider, and grievances must be addressed directly with them.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

• All customer and provider data is processed in line with applicable data protection laws including IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023, and as detailed in the Platform’s Privacy Policy.
• You consent to collection, use, and sharing of your data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
• The Platform takes reasonable efforts to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security against unauthorized access.

9. Intellectual Property

• The Platform and all content, branding, software, and intellectual property remain the sole property of R Saloon or its licensors.
• No part of the Platform may be copied, reverse-engineered, republished, or exploited without express written permission.

10. Ratings, Reviews, and Communications

Customers may provide ratings and feedback following service completion. R Saloons may display, edit, hide, or remove reviews in line with its policies.

Harassment, false feedback, or abusive content is not permitted and may result in closure of your account.

11. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Platform for unlawful activities, commercial solicitation, malware distribution, or to circumvent the booking/payment process.

Any fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorized use is grounds for removal and possible legal action.

12. Warranties & Indemnification

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

You agree to hold R Saloons, its employees, and affiliates harmless from all losses, claims, damages, expenses, or liabilities (including attorney fees) arising from your use of the Platform, breaches of these Terms, or violation of laws or third-party rights.

13. Termination and Suspension

R Saloon reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform or any services, at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice, especially in cases of breach, fraud, abuse, non-compliance or legal requirements.

Obligations relating to payment, confidentiality, indemnity, and dispute resolution shall survive such termination.

14. Changes, Updates, and Communication

R Saloon may change these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting or notice. Continued platform usage constitutes acceptance.

Communications from the Platform will be sent via your registered email or SMS.

15. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Any disputes, claims, or controversies will first be attempted to be resolved amicably through negotiation.

If unresolved, all disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, under Indian law.

16. Miscellaneous

If any term is found unenforceable, it will be interpreted to reflect the parties’ original intent; the remainder will remain in effect.
